ECAASU at Yale this Weekend

The East Coast Asian American Student Union is the premiere Asian American collegiate conference in the United States. Founded in 1977, this annual event brings together student leaders from over 100 universities to facilitate political activism and educational dialogue. Today, ECAASU is still at the forefront of the Asian American movement – and Yale is proud to continue this tradition.

College students, graduate students, and alumni are all invited to attend ECAASU events. Over the course of our 30 year history, more than 15,000 students have participated in the ECAASU conference, creating a rich and diverse forum on Asian American issues.

The East Coast Asian American Student Union will be holding its 30th Anniversary Conference on February 8-10, 2007 in New Haven, CT at Yale University. This two day conference, with expected attendance of over 1000 guests, will provide a forum to discuss key issues related to Asian American identity and activism.

This year’s conference theme is Breaking Through. On Friday night, we will partner with LiNK to bring you a benefit concert where contestants can win a cash prize. Saturday evening brings back our famous Gala Banquet and our new concert APA Rhythm featuring Jin.
